Trade Me Messages feature retiring
As we announced on 3 December, the message feature within Trade Me is no longer available.
3 December 2024The Trade Me Messages feature is being retired and will no longer operate after 17 December 2024.
We are committed to continually improving how our members use our platform. After careful consideration, we've identified that this feature is not meeting the standards we want for our members.
- Members will no longer be able to send or receive messages on Trade Me after 17 December 2024.
- All existing messages will be deleted and will no longer be able to be accessed. If you think you will need access to your message content after that date, you will need to make a copy or screenshot your messages by 17 December.
- Members will still be able to communicate via email after a successful trade.
