Getting around

It’s fair to say that transport links into the CBD aren’t Botany Downs’ strong suit. With no train line running through the suburb, residents are mostly reliant on their own vehicles, or buses to get into central Auckland.

Alternatives include driving to train stations in Panmure or Manukau, or taking the ferry from nearby Half Moon Bay. This second option takes about 40 minutes.
